Ugapedia is the number one encyclopedia for silent heroes. Within us, in our homes, communities, and localities, there are those men and women who have really inspired us. They were singers, good counsellors who would give us direction, responsible mothers and fathers who fought against all odds to raise children or see their communities fight through calamities, soldiers who fought national and local wars, riders and drivers who made our heads turn whenever they surfaced, writers, thinkers, scientists, doctors and nurses, teachers who wholeheartedly taught children, mentors who pushed us to greater heights. Sadly, their biographies and or autobiographies are nowhere! They could be dead or alive, men or women, young or old! But they are surely nowhere to be heard, celebrated, and studied.
Wikipedia, Britannica, and other online encyclopedias don’t know about them, and they don’t want to know about them! But we know them or they know themselves. Ugapedia is an encyclopedia of all silent heroes, in Uganda, Africa, and the whole world. Do you know someone? It could be you yourself in which case you will write an autobiography. It could someone else, your neighbor, father or mother or a friend or someone you really admire and want his or her legacy to live on as an inspiration to others. In this case, write a biography of that person. UGAPEDIA IS the real encyclopedia for silent heroes.
NB:
- A biography is a detailed writing about someone’s entire life, but written by some other people other than himself!
- An autobiography is a detailed account of someone’s life, but written by the person himself!
Which one will you write today? Autobiography or biography or both? Just begin now! Ugapedia is the home for silent heroes within and among us. God bless you
